Cole's Ace Hardware - Upper Level Apartment Units

This project involved the transformation of the upper level of the existing Cole's Ace Hardware building in Independence into a mixed-use facility featuring 10 apartment units within an 8,000 sq ft space. Our team carefully balanced the constraints of maintaining required egress, ADA compliance, and incorporating 33 existing windows into the design.

The resulting apartments provide comfortable and modern living spaces while retaining the building’s original character. We are excited about the positive impact this project will have on the community, offering new housing opportunities and revitalizing a historic structure.
